Internal Audit Specialist III/IV (R17-631)
In this position, you will conduct internal audits and provide consultations in support of the Internal Audit Services (IAS) plan. Assignments will cover a variety of functional areas. A high degree of focus is placed on sound IAS practices and client and stakeholder service.
Plan, perform and communicate results of financial, technology, compliance and operational audits and consultations.
Coordinate projects and communicate results (written and verbal) in a timely and collaborative manner to clients and key stakeholders.
Write and create clear, concise and progressive audit and consultation reports.
Utilize knowledge and judgment to design effective and efficient audit test plans.
Assist IAS management in periodic reporting to the Audit Committee, development of the annual IAS plan, risk assessment activities, and championing internal control and corporate governance concepts throughout the Company.
Under general supervision of lead auditors, participate in the planning and performance of financial, compliance and operational audits and consultations.
Support and coordinate control testing, including communicating results in a timely and collaborative manner.
Participate in the writing and creation of clear, concise and progressive audit and consultation reports.
Utilize knowledge and judgement to support the design of effective and efficient audit, consultation and control test plans.
The position will be filled at the level that commensurate with the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or equivalent.
Active CIA, CPA, CISA or CRMA are a plus.
Experience to include a combination of public accounting and/or internal audit.
Strong competencies in auditing and control frameworks, tools and techniques.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage time and work projects effectively, including establishing project goals, tracking status and communicating final results/recommendations.
Proficient use of Microsoft programs.
At the Specialist IV level, the candidate must have a minimal of six years of experience with progression (i.e. complexity of roles or responsibilities assumed). At the Specialist III level, the candidate must have a minimal of at least three years of experience.
