As a CH2M Civil Engineer, you will support engineers within the State and Local Government Sector in the Fort Lauderdale office and have a hand in transforming tomorrow.
You will work on studies, designs, and field assignments for transportation, water/wastewater, stormwater, drainage, and conveyance projects. The role will involve working with multi-disciplinary teams through the planning, design, and implementation phases of projects. Our ideal candidate would bring a positive attitude, excellent oral and written communication and analytical skills. Working with other members of our team, you’ll also assist with delivering projects and building positive clients relationships. Candidates should be self-motivated, detailed oriented, quality driven, and team-focused.
Key responsibilities of this position include:
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplined project teams. • Conduct engineering analysis to support project recommendations. • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and vendor bid evaluations. • Prepare engineering reports, studies, calculations, and check sets. • Assist project manager on tracking project schedule and budgets. • Coordinate effective quality management processes for each project.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on water and/or transportation design projects. • Experience in working with municipal clients in engineering or project management roles.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
• PE in the state of Florida or ability to gain reciprocity.
