As a Senior Clinical Administrative Coordinator you will be dealing positively with members and providers in sometimes challenging circumstances. As a subject matter expert, you'll also be the "go-to" resource for information. The flexibility to work evening hours will also be required. Primary Responsibilities Act as a Subject Matter Expert for other team members within current data systemsAbility to support the identification, monitoring and reporting of affordability Ability to successfully manage escalated calls from members, providers, and team membersManage the referral process, processing incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles Quickly resolve inquiries from members, providers, and clinical leadership Demonstrate strong problem solving skills in data analysisDemonstrate strong excel skills and ability to gather and support data analysis, report writing and state reporting processesAbility to work and develop relationships across all divisions of UHC
Required Qualifications:Associates Degree (or higher) or High School Diploma / GED and 4+ years experience in Health and Human service field2+ years experience analyzing and solving customer challengesMust be able to work Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with possible overtime and evening hours.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with medical terminologyExperience working with health care insurance Experience in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting Clerical or administrative support background or experience working in a call center environment Knowledge of HCBS coding / modifiersCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
