There's never been a better time to do your life's best work.(sm)Primary Responsibilities:Extract data from various tools to complete assigned projects Analyze, review, forecast, and trend data Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data Process improvement for efficiency of work
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in business / finance analysis Experience gathering requirements from the client / business and documenting Experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes required Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel and PowerPoint) 2+ years of experience with Medicaid claims including a knowledge of all of the industry standard coding sets, NDC, POA, Patient Status Code on a UB claim and diagnosis indicator purpose. Experience in communicating analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally Preferred Qualifications:Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate data Intermediate knowledge of relational databases, database structures Intermediate proficiency with SQL Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
