We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse as an Echocardiography nurse. Our ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY RNs provides patient care in the echocardiography and ECG Lab. They communicate with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring and symptoms. They respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patient's condition, participate in performance improvement and CQI activities, and perform general nursing duties as needed in all cardiac areas with adequate training and supervision. UWMC's Echocardiography Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography studies.
Position requires: Requires
Current state Registered Nurse Licensure.
Two or more years of recent critical care experience.
Successful completion Progressive Care Course.
Current BCLS certification.
Current ACLS OR within 6 months of hire.
Administration of Dobutamine for Echo stress studies.
