HCRI has been retained by a leading Health Center to search for a Chief Medical Officer! We're currently seeking a qualified physician to fill an opening for Chief Medical Officer with our esteemed client. Interested candidates should be a graduate of an accredited medical school with a Doctorate degree and at least 3 years of experience in leadership, patient care, and clinical management.
Responsibilities of the Chief Medical Officer Serve as chief clinician Responsible for supervising the overall delivery of health care Supervision of physician, mid-level practitioners overseeing the scope of specialty care. Make recommendations to the CEO regarding budget development for capital equipment or expansion and improvement of clinical services. Review and approve clinical programs as required by government or other funding sources. In allignment with the COO, establish appropriate systems, standards and protocols for a quality assessment system to monitor patient care. Review and approve duties and responsibilities of the medical team. Complete annual performance evaluations for the medical team. Assure the implementation of the ongoing CQI program in coordination with the COO. Establish linkages with public and private clinical referral sources including in patient care. Provide input to Outreach program to coordinate activities designed to: Promote community awareness Promote the community's utilization of disease prevention and wellness programs. Perform all other Chief Medical Officer duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Chief Medical Officer Valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine Physician M.D. or D.O. License Current DEA certificate Successfully completed a residency training program and be board certified in a PC/FM/IM specialty desired Minimum 3 years of experience in patient care and clinical management preferred Physician Leadership/Management experience Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Flexible schedule
