JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Medical Staff Services is responsible for the daily operations of the Medical Staff Services Department and facilitative leadership with the Medical Staff organization and its members. Additional responsibilities include: hiring, training and supervision of employees; the establishment of operational policies and procedures for both the Medical Center and the Medical Staff, compliance with TJC and Title 22 regulatory, coordination of medical staff activities and acting as a liaison between the medical staff, nursing staff, legal staff, and administration. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare of management related field. Experience: Three or more (3+) years of recent experience in a Medical Staff Director position which includes management and supervisory responsibility for the entire medical staff services function. License/Certification: Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM). Certification must be maintained by achievement of CEU requirements at least every three years. Valid Certificate as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) highly preferred. WHY CHOOSE US?
