The Board of Education of the Canton Central School District seeks a highly qualified, committed, and caring leader to serve as our Superintendent of Schools.
Canton is the government seat of rural St. Lawrence County and home to two colleges, St. Lawrence University and the State University of New York at Canton, with whom our school enjoys strong, symbiotic relationships.
Canton is in close proximity to the majestic St. Lawrence River and world-renowned Thousand Islands, and is within easy driving distance of both the Adirondack Park and Lake Placid. The surrounding areas provide many year-round recreational activities, and the exciting Canadian capital of Ottawa, a mere 90 miles away.
The 2017-18 budget for Canton CSD is $29,149,718.

Ten or more years of educational experience, including a minimum of five years as a teacher, and five years as a school administrator, with superintendent or principal experience preferred.
Additional Salary Information: Up to $150,000, dependent on experience.
