Positions in this function may also be responsible for quality reporting, analysis and audits, and for developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using applicable tools. Employees in jobs labeled with SCA must support a Government Service Contract Act (SCA) Agreement.Primary Responsibilities:Review clinician demographics entered into the user interface and approve for importingPopulate and print new license applicationsTimely communication with clinicians regarding missing information and / or inconsistenciesPreparing application(s) mailingsComplete full quality assurance review of clinician application returned to department by clinicianObtain license payment funding on behalf of clinicianSubmit application including payment and other required supporting documentsFollow-up on outstanding applications submitted to State boardMonitor aging reports and take appropriate action with State board and / or clinicianPerform online payment requests and manual check payment requestsPerform primary source verification: accessing individual State board websitesSpecial assignments including: monthly interaction audits and State board reportingSupport special accreditation applications such as URAQ and JCAHOOnboard clinicians into clinical licensure system(s)
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED3+ years of experience in an office environment with time sensitive deadlines3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook)United States CitizenshipAbility to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86Preferred Qualifications:Experience working within healthcare / insurance settingExperience with clinical credentialing and / or licensureSoft Skills:Desire and ability to learn new skills, systems and processesAs a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense form SF86, (the National Agency Check or "NAC"). Successful completion of the NAC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NAC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer, and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received.
