The Credentialing Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for performing administrative activities in support of provider network maintenance and development. Candidate must embrace company's commitment to leverage technology to ensure efficient and cost-effective business practices and procedures. This position is responsible for following all department and company policies; proactively and reactively seeking appropriate solutions to existing issues; fully accountable for maintaining positive working relationships with external and internal customers.Primary Responsibilities:Maintains visible accountability for all aspects of their assigned tasks.Performs assigned tasks to properly file provider documentation and organize outbound and inbound provider correspondence. These tasks include, but are not limited to; prepares post-PRC provider notices, manages department voicemail boxes and distributes messages appropriately, scans documents as needed, project support.Manages department voicemail boxes and distributes messages appropriately.Collaborates with team members to maintain and improve department workflow and data capture procedures to ensure effective reporting and oversight abilities.Performs precise entry of provider and vendor information to ensure accurate provider rosters and overall data integrity.Facilitates correction of provider and vendor information and collaborates with team members for the continuous evaluation of operational procedures to ensure ongoing process improvements.Participates in the identification of problem origins and the development of tools and processes to eliminate and / or mitigate future occurrences of identified issues.Communicates frequently with peers, team members and management on the credentialing tasks and projects as assigned.Collaborates with team members in the creation of new policies, the need to eliminate unnecessary policies, and updates to existing policies as business needs change.Performs any other assigned duties as required by company.
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED1+ years of work experience in an administrative role supporting a departmentMust have 1+ years of work experience working with Medicare and / or Medicaid with understanding of terminology and the requirements1+ year of Microsoft Word (mail merge, editing, creating and saving documents) Microsoft Excel (saving, sorting, filtering, and merging to Microsoft Word)Careers with MARCH® Vision Care.
