The School of Theoretical and Applied Science at Ramapo College seeks candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Environmental Chemistry, commencing in Fall 2018.
Successful candidates will be expected to teach general chemistry and fundamentals of environmental science, as well as environmental chemistry and upper level courses in chemistry and environmental science. In addition to teaching 12 credit hours of course work each semester, faculty members are expected to develop an active research program involving undergraduate students, advise students, and contribute to college governance.
Ph.D. in chemistry or environmental science is required.
Prior college level teaching experience is preferred. Specialization in environmental chemistry with field experience including water and/or soil analysis is also preferable.
