Primary Responsibilities:Coordinating the execution of audits performed by our clients, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and regulatory / government agencies (CMS, OIG, GAO)Working with the Business Owners and the AuditorsDetermine the appropriate scope, timing and logistics of the auditsPrepare audit requests as requiredMonitor audit progress and resolve potential findings as appropriateValidate and respond to audit findingsDevelop and monitor corrective actionsDeveloping a consistent audit process to ensure all outside audits are effectively managedPerforming monitoring reviews to obtain assurance on compliancePlanning and executing operational and regulatory audits of various areas within the companyAnalyzing the root cause of issues and helping to develop appropriate action plansDeveloping audit reports that accurately summarize the results of reviewsAssisting with various projects related to SOX / SAS, Internal Audits and special projects as directed by the VP of Audit
Required Qualifications:BA/BS degree 4 or more years of experience in audit (operational, financial, and/or IT related)Intermediate MS Excel skillsPreferred Qualifications:Healthcare / PBM experienceCPA, CIA and/or CISACareers with Optum.
