May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program / project budgets.Primary Responsibilities:Support the Sales / Marketing team in assigned territoryEstablish new relationships and maintain existing onesIdentify opportunity and develop a Marketing strategy, in a diverse multi-cultural populationShare our mission to help people live healthier lives, throughout the communities we serviceCreate educational and sales events within our targeted populationExecute, plan and coordinate resources (i.e., Vendors, Partners, Sales Agent, etc.) to ensure a successful eventResponsible for meeting or exceeding targeted growth, retention, and enrollment expectations within assigned territory
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED (or higher) 3+ years of Community Outreach field experience 1+ years of experience with Medicare and / or Medicaid Experience with Microsoft Word (create documents) and Microsoft Excel (create spreadsheets; manipulate data; track budget)Dependable vehicle and current Driver's License (will also be driving Company van to community events)Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within territory (less than 5% US overnight travel) and work evenings and weekends when requiredPreferred Qualifications: Health / Life Insurance License Knowledge of CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) Marketing rules and regulations Bilingual fluency with English and Spanish Marketing experience with in a matrix organization Microsoft PowerPoint experience (create presentations)Soft Skills: Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity Experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables Experience in a deadline driven environment Careers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
