Primary Responsibilities:Initiates on-boarding process for contracted medical and dental service providersProcesses provider credentialing applications in accordance with standards, regulatory requirements, and policies and proceduresExamines research, enters data, files, and gathers all information necessary to process information received from providers to support the credentialing processMaintains compliance with documentation standards for necessary verificationEstablishes productive relationships with medical providers and office staff to facilitate prompt integration into company networkAssists and provides customer service to on-boarding providersCollects and processes executed contract documentsSends and receive medical provider applications and compliance documentationReviews received documentation to ensure 100% completion and accuracyAll other duties assigned by Management
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED1+ years of credentialing experienceAbility to train daily in the Woodland Hills, CA office for approximately 3 months Experience with Microsoft Excel (editing, cutting, pasting, filtering, creating lists, and simple formulas)Experience with Microsoft Word (creating and saving document)Knowledge of NCQA credentialing standardsPreferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree (or higher)Familiarity with MedicaidKnowledge of best practices and industry standards for credentialing processesSoft Skills:Strong PC skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentFinding and securing the best providers for our growing networks is helping UnitedHealth Group improve the lives of millions.
