Primary Responsibilities:Answer phones to accept new customer referralsActively communicate with referral sources and sales reps to follow-up on all pending referralsActively communicate status of all new, restart, and pending referrals with different departmentsEnsuring referrals go through in a timely fashionAccess health insurance websites to verify customer insurance eligibility and home health benefits.
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GEDComfortable working Monday-Friday an 8-hour shift between hours of 8:00am - 6:30pm with the flexibility to be on call once per month during evening and / or weekend hours1+ years of customer service experienceHealthcare insurance benefits experienceAble to create, edit, copy, send and save documents, correspondence and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook Bilingual with English and SpanishPreferred Qualifications:Medical terminology experience / knowledge Home care infusion experience This position requires ACHA Level II Background checks (fingerprinting) by the State of Florida for all Clinicians that have face-to-face contact with members and will require renewal every five years.
