This is a State requirement that also has performance metrics around it. Position is responsible for entering data, performing mailings, answering questions with internal/external contacts regarding the HRA process, incentives, etc.Positions in this function include those responsible for providing process and operational support to the functions within Business Operations Family. Positions in this function may also be responsible for quality reporting, analysis and audits, and for developing plans and programs to support continuous quality improvement using applicable tools. Employees in jobs labeled with SCA must support a government Service Contract Act (SCA) agreement.Primary Responsibilities:Extensive work experience within own function.Work is frequently completed without established procedures.Works independently.May act as a resource for others.May coordinate others' activities.Entering and monitoring state defined Health Risk Assessments for our Healthy Michigan Plan. Position is responsible for Entering data, performing mailings, answering questions with internal/external customers.Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information; establishing entry priorities.Processes documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the providers for resolution.Enters member data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard according to screen format.Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED or higher 6+ months professional experience in an office setting using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform the job dutiesExperience working within the Healthcare Industry or Healthcare Insurance fieldPreferred Qualifications: Professional experience in a clerical or administrative support related roleWorking Knowledge of Medical Terminology to communicate with members and providersExperience working with Medicare and / or Medicaid ServicesCareers at UnitedHealthcare Community & State.
