The U.S. Naval Academy invites applications for the Class of ’61 Professor of Leadership Education to begin as early as January 2018 in the Leadership Education and Development Division.
The Class of 1961 Professor of Leadership Education will take a leading role in expanding leadership education programs, mentoring junior faculty, advising and assisting the Chair of the Leadership, Ethics and Law (LEL) Department on leadership curriculum matters, teaching undergraduate core and elective courses, and conducting research and scholarship in leadership development.
The successful candidate must have a professional and academic background consistent with the demands of a prominent leadership role at an academically elite service academy. The Naval Academy is the nation’s premier source for developing leaders of character for the Navy and Marine Corps.
