Candidates must be comfortable pursuing a permanent role that is contingent on future award status with client.Position is responsible for the oversight of efficient delivery of services centered on payment of fee-for-service claims as well as provider and member relations. Additional oversight responsibilities include supporting drug rebate activities, pharmacy operations and other related services necessary for health care delivery associated with fee-for-service population. This role will serve as a member of the executive leadership team of a dynamic business unit. The successful candidate must have significant experience with the regulatory and operational requirements. The successful candidate must be process-oriented, a proven people manager, as well as have the technical knowledge and experience of business process operations in a government healthcare program environment. Primary Responsibilities: Principal for communication and coordination across all business service managers within the Contractor's operation, as well as communication with DHCS and other contractorsPrimary point of contact for DHCS's escalation of issues and client resolution.Responsible for the interactions and business processes related to the program. Develop strategies and work with client leadershipCollaboration with other Department of Health Care Services programs to ensure efficient service deliveryProvide input into operational issues and opportunities that support organizational efficienciesAssist Executive Director in evaluating business strategy and providing business leadershipProvide recommendations for changes / improvements to business methodology and processes
