The Department of Social Sciences in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of South Carolina Beaufort invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Human Services at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The successful candidate for the position will: (1) possess an earned doctorate by August 2018 in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related disciplines, (2) have prior university teaching experience online and in the classroom, and (3) demonstrate evidence of effective teaching and have a record of intellectual contributions and institutional service commensurate with the rank of Assistant Professor. The department prefers candidates who have experience as professional counselors and can teach micro- and mezzo-level human services interventions courses.
Additional Salary Information: This position is a tenure track, 9-month, appointment, commencing on August 16, 2018. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
