Job Description: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), to work as part of a team and provide diverse administrative support to the office. Duties include preparing and submitting monthly reports required by the federal government, coordinating travel arrangements and travel advances and preparing expense reports, compiling and updating vacation records, providing logistical support and coordinating events and trainings. Will also provide general administrative support, including sharing reception duties, drafting and preparing correspondences and communications, filing, photocopying, scanning, handling mail and preparing and tracking FedEx shipments, and perform other administrative functions as needed.
Job Requirements: REQUIRED: at least three years of administrative, office, customer service, or related experience; demonstrated sound judgment; ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team; excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail; and the ability to prioritize, organize, and exercise good judgment. An associate's/bachelor's degree; working knowledge of Excel, Word, SAP, and Kuali Coeus; and MIT experience are preferred. Job #15344-5
