This Case Mix & Reimbursement Analyst II will be responsible for:
Designing and developing database programs to produce key financial data for internal and external reporting.
Using systems to generate reports which assists in the billing process and maximizing reimbursement.
Consistently updating databases and organizing information from various sources in order to receive reimbursements and to prepare for appeals to government agencies.
To qualify you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in finance or a closely related field and three to four years of previous related experience with a minimum of two years as a reimbursement or case mix analyst.
Strong excel skills and have demonstrated working experience with Healthcare payer policies
The analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, applying professional principles in performing various analyses, and be able to summarize the information and data in order to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs that cross department/divisional lines.
Excellent communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well‑developed writing skills.
