Mathematics (Unclassified MSCF-CC Faculty)
This position is a direct report to the Dean of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Faculty teach a variety of mathematics courses, including developmental and college-level mathematics, including Statistics. Faculty expectations include engaging in the service to the community, professional development, and service to the Mathematics Department and the college through committee work and inter-departmental collaboration.
Master's degree with a major in mathematics or a master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in mathematics.
Teaching mathematics at the two-year college level.
Teaching developmental and college-level mathematics, including Statistics and Calculus.
Teaching diverse populations within higher education.
Teaching on campus and online.
The use of innovative, creative teaching and learning methods.
Working within a collaborative campus community.
Commitment to departmental participation, vision, and planning.
