Position Summary: This position is responsible for developing and growing positive business relationships with the venues numerous current and potential sponsors, community leaders, charities, business leaders, government partners, and industry.
Business Development Manager who will focus on sponsorship fulfillment, client (sponsor) development, community engagement, public affairs, and ongoing outreach programs. This position will report to General Manager and will focus on elevating our presence in both the corporate and non-profit communities, as well as a dedicated focus to our sponsorship program.
Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing, or related field
5 years prior business development, client relations, customer services or account executive/sales experience
Industry experience is favorable but not required
Strong business development and prospecting skills are necessary
Flexibility in work schedule, as needed.
Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills, as well as solid presentation skills
Computer proficiency including; Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint; and CRM
