Our Human Resources team provide support and strategy at every level of Morgan Stanley's business. It helps firm and business unit management with strategic direction in employee recruiting, retention, development and compensation.
HR Coverage Officers partner with individual business units to deliver services in data analysis, employee relations, compensation analysis and performance management through:
-Delivering a world class and commercial service to our clients
-Provide full HR support to our clients, understand their business and support them to manage their most important asset - their people. As the business partner for HR you will build strong relationships with HR Operations, Talent and Rewards to deliver a full HR service to your clients - Guide the business through their challenges ensuring that people, diversity and policy are key to decisions - Ensure the business manages its talent for success - Remain focused on risk and culture ensuring it is taking into account by the client when making decisions - Maintain strong working relationships with coverage counterparts in EMEA and Globally - Participate in all aspects of the clients global business - Monitor and coordinate with clients on all aspects of immigration/visa processes - Remain up to date on all aspects of employment legislation - Provide regular updates to client groups on people metrics - Deliver professional support to our clients in all aspects of performance management - Support and coach management teams to enhance the performance of their teams ensuring that clear goals and objectives are in place and that all colleagues receive clear and objective performance feedback - Support your clients to manage their top talent for success
Deliver professional support to our client group in all aspects of absence management and periods of leave:
- Manage and support managers and employees in all aspects of health related absences - Provide support and guidance to employees and their managers on all aspect of maternity, paternity, shared parental leave and parental leave
Ensuring a professional image with the new hire experience:
- Monitor pre-employment screening and probationary periods - Deliver the new hire orientation programme
Provide a professional service to all colleagues on all aspects of reward:
-Support employees with all aspects of relocation either to or from the Glasgow office -Manage flex-work applications at all levels in conjunction with employee's line manager -Provide support to any benefit and wellbeing awareness campaigns -Support the year end promotion process -Support the year end reward process
Skills required The successful candidate will have gained commercial HR generalist experience at an officer level. They will bring proven experience of building strong working relationships with their clients and improving their business through effective people strategies.
They will bring a working knowledge of UK employment legislation and have gained experience in a commercial environment. Experience of a financial services environment is desirable but not essential.
Desired Skills - CIPD qualification is preferred
