This position is a key member of the Banner team responsible for leading business critical change initiatives in alignment with Project Management and Banner leadership. The primary focus on this role will be to develop change strategies and governance documents while creating and implementing change plans that minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement to drive faster adoption and higher proficiency on the changes impacting associates and the organization to ensure desired business results are achieved or exceeded. This position will develop and execute a comprehensive, integrated change management and communication strategy for enterprise change projects to ensure ongoing change agility and speed of adoption while managing resistance to organizational change. This person interacts regularly with senior leaders across the system to ensure alignment and buy-in for all enterprise change initiatives.
Lead and provide oversight on Banners change management initiatives to support full life-cycle of change efforts from assessment to implementation to stabilization to ROI analysis. Ensure the appropriate application of Prosci methodology and tools to ensure maximum results and ROI.
Lead and oversee related change management communications strategy. Cohesively manage a portfolio of change initiatives/projects according to stated budgets while allocating and managing necessary resources for each project.
Ensure post implementation assessment of end-user adoption and utilization of the change while ensuring ongoing stakeholder updates, identification of ROI and reporting of ROI. Complete Change Acceleration assessments: Prosci PCT, Risk Assessment and CMROI.
Develop and lead a high performing change management team that is aligned with Banner leadership, strategy, vision, and culture. Support leaders and the Project Management Office in the chartering of initiatives and identifying measures of success.
Ensure the ongoing growth of knowledge, skills and abilities for self and team as it relates to staying current with new Change trends and applications as a practitioner while staying connected to Proscis new research and findings related to the culture of change in various industries and organizations. Extrapolate those research findings for application to Banner to grow organizational agility, sophistication, and application.
Support the ongoing adoption of the Prosci Change Acceleration framework and tools into the Banner organization. Manage organizational risk and exposure by ensuring the alignment of all certified Prosci practitioners in their application of approved tools, practices, methodologies.
Provide organizational leadership and stewardship for the application and adherence to a single, unified change methodology across the system.
Provide enterprise change acceleration consulting across the system to support leaders and teams in achieving best in class application of Banners suite of change tools and strategies.
Must possess a knowledge of human resources and recruitment as typically obtained through the completion of a bachelors degree in human resources, marketing or related field.
Certification in Prosci Change Methodology and Prosci Train the Trainer required.
Requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational change management as normally demonstrated through 7-10 years of progressively responsible change management experience, which includes at least two years of leading successful change management initiatives. Requires demonstrated knowledge and understanding of change management trends and ability to develop, implement and evaluate organizational effectiveness programs. Proven experience leading and/or managing a team of professionals. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of recruitment trends.Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, as well as present findings and recommendations. Must possess strong organizational and project management skills to effectively direct and manage large scale projects and initiatives in a fast paced, complex and matrix environment. Must have the ability to compassionately and fairly manage employees.
Masters degree preferred.
