This is the place where you can do your life's best work.(sm)In this dynamic technology leadership role, you will be a serve as a liaison to the CIO of Optum Rx IT and plays a critical role providing leadership, guidance and accountability for the senior level executive staff. As a Sr. Mgr. of Resource Management you will create and manage all processes required for resource management along with contribution to the overall staffing strategy in support of Optum Rx IT's strategic priorities. Your strategic vision, tactical excellence and consultative skills will enable others to resolve business problems that affect multiple functions or disciplines, and ultimately, the lives of millions. Primary Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison and advisor to CoS on major all resource management processes, Requisition Creation for all Hiring Managers and Approval; GOV and EOC processes, Contractor Conversions and OGS requisitions Participate in meetings driving resource management. Solicits pertinent inputs and feedback as needed from across Optum, i.e. Finance, Human Capital, IT, Talent Acquisition and Corporate Labor Procurement Deliver Resource Management reporting - capture and report important information/metrics, across the line of business and roll up into weekly, monthly, quarterly briefings Lead execution of training for all hiring managers on requisition requests and PPM optics Partners with CoS and leadership team to develop the structure for requisition management and governance Serves as coach to hiring managers on requisition process, approval requirements and overall governance Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications: BA/BS Degree 4-6 years professional experience in resource management, workforce management and project management Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, etc.) 2+ Project management experience (end-to-end) Flexibility – comfortable operating and driving Sr Leaders to adhere to process Proactive – ability to work autonomously, in ambiguous and dynamic situations with little direction; and demonstrates the ability to anticipate issues before they arise and proactively recommend/implements creative solutions to problems Organization – must react to time-sensitive matters Communicator – exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and negotiate effectively with internal stakeholders to represent the needs of OptumRX in relationship to resource management Strong team player Resilient – ability to remain calm under pressure and adaptive to change as priorities shift Ethical – handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information Passion for the mission and values of Optum Rx Previous experience managing a team Personal credibility, emotional maturity, humility, positivity and confidence Preferred Qualifications: Prior resource management and workforce management Health care experienceTechnology Careers with Optum.
