We are New Bridge Medical Center and we are looking for someone experienced at serving as a physician liaison for our hospital, including managing physician orientation and collaborating with the informatics and managed care department to ensure the successful onboarding of physicians.
You’re an exceptional communicator and are the vital link between your senior management and medical staff. You have an upbeat personality and enjoy working with medical professionals. We are looking for an outstanding Director to run our medical office. In this role, you will be responsible for coordination and oversight of the Medical Staff Services Department. You will be responsible for:
Physician and allied health credentialing and reappointment.
Maintaining the flow of information from medical staff committees through the Medical Executive Committee and the Governing Board.
Guaranteeing Joint Commission, State and Federal regulatory agency compliance by working closely with medical staff leaders, hospital administration and legal counsel.
Publishing and maintaining hospital call schedule.
Assisting the Credentials Committee with development of privilege criteria, privilege delineations and other documents necessary for the credentialing process.
Providing oversight, education and training to the Medical Staff Services Department.
Providing supportive services to medical staff leaders, including assisting in the development of policies.
Maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety and environmental and infection control standards.

You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree in business or health care related field, a master’s degree is even better, CPCS certification and five years medical staff office experience. You will need to know the Standards of the Joint Commission, State and Federal regulations and any other regulatory agency standards related to medical staff organization, our medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and hospital policies and a few other things.
