We are currently seeking a Healthcare Consulting Program Manager who understands healthcare at an Industry level and is able to connect the available data with business to illustrate its impact. He/She will be responsible for using advanced analytical techniques to interpret data and present the findings to both firm professionals and client constituents. The PMO - Healthcare Consulting will be a part of a dynamic team providing customized healthcare advisory, strategy and network development support services to our payer and provider clients. Qualified candidates must have extensive experience consulting on innovative healthcare payment models, specifically episodes of care and bundled payments.Primary Responsibilities:Team and work managementSupport leadership with business planning tasks such as budgeting and forecasting for Sales and Pipeline, Revenue, Headcount Planning, Business Development, in close collaboration with Finance and HR teamsInnovate and deliver additional value to leadership through efficient, quality service and continuous improvementJuggle multiple requests, prioritize according to business stakeholder needs and requirements Combine strong understanding of healthcare with business acumen to produce insightful analysisCreatively solve client challenges relating to implementation of value-based healthcare payment modelsManage multi-year services engagements, including planning and goal setting, maintaining timeline/schedule, timely communication on project tasks and deliverables, collecting data and information, creating presentations materials and other deliverables, and engaging internal team members and clientsServe as a subject matter expert on payment innovation, including staying abreast of new payment models, industry trends, and government programsConduct ad hoc data modeling and analysis to assess client opportunities and support network contracting negotiationsEffectively market consulting services to new and existing clientsDevelop comprehensive, provider-specific plans to increase performance and improve outcomes
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related fieldExperience to include global exposure, program management, people managementExperience in healthcare strategy consulting for payers and large integrated delivery systems in a national healthcare advisory practiceGood understanding of MIS, dashboards and scorecards for leadership reviewSubject matter expertise on provider network development and contracting, including advising clients on cost and quality thresholds for performance-based paymentsExtensive network of client contacts and referenceable client engagements relating to value-based healthcareDemonstrated leadership skills and desire to take on more than assigned in an entrepreneurial environmentComfortable leading multiple client-serving teams in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environmentExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications:MBA from a tier-1 B-SchoolHandled projects in the areas of sales reporting, operations, analytics, MISCareers with Optum.
