It's the opportunity to do your life's best work.(sm) Lead strategic initiatives crossing business teams and operating groups as a Manager of Data Quality Process. The Manager of Data Quality Process will be a key member of the program delivery team, shaping break-through processes and managing cross functional engagements, leading others in the organization through a thoughtful and meaningful data quality management agenda. You'll investigate non-standard business requests and problems, makes presentations to operational leadership, ensure project documentation is accurate and ensure data quality expectations are met - on time and within scope. Pertinent data and facts will be reviewed to identify opportunities, solve issues, and mitigate risks. The Manager of Data Quality Process is part of the End-User Support delivery team. This team focuses on two vital components of user engagement:User analysis, access and provisioning Documenting the business needs and driving requirements for technology enablement Analyze users impacted by the delivery of the system: Knowing who they are and what their role is. This feeds training, communication and user access provisioning activitiesProvision users to the new systems, ensure users have the right access to the right systemsIssues Management processEnsure users have the proper support tools and resources availableImplement and monitor the end-to-end process of managing system issues, including operational and technical considerationsImplement tools, metrics and reporting on issues that go through the process and on the effectiveness of the processDevelop, implement and manage the process for managing data qualityYou'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities: Develops and implements plans for implementation of a data quality management process, identifying project duration, effort, sequence, and dependencies of tasks required to meet applicable project objectivesDocuments detailed processes that define the data quality management expectationsIdentifies tools, preparing quality trend reports and managing relationships with data stewardsManages the execution of the process through pilot implementations, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, and have remediation plans in place; producing status reports on open issues; monitoring metrics and analyzing trends in data quality issues.Creates and manages a data steward forum to review issues, issues status, and data quality trendsMatures the process through process improvement plans that drive maturity and scalability of the processOwns complex problem resolution, critically analyzing options, preparing and delivering recommendations, and executing on decisionsEngages and partners with program leadership to set expectations and formalize delivery plansMonitors and documents project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standards Develops and implements contingency and recovery plans when deliverables are missed (e.g., identify critical path, document plan for getting back on plan schedule, communication plan, etc)Collaborates with other workstreams for role clarity, issue resolution and overall program statusParticipates and supports change management objectivesMaintains operational excellence, preserving the reputation of quality and execution while supporting emerging needs for program support Supports the broader organization through special assignments
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or 3+ additional years of experience4+ years of project management experience; tracking and planning projects, documenting process, meeting deadlines, managing multiple priorities4+ years of analyst experience; understanding needs, working with large data sets and making data-driven analytical decisions, defining solutions and implanting changesIntermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePointPreferred Qualifications Ability to lead change management initiatives, mobilizes change proactivelyAbility to manage multiple competing priorities and tasksAbility to grasp new ideas and productsAbility to work independently, detail and action oriented with focus on results not effortAbility to evaluate, integrate and balance data to achieve objectivesAbility to fully analyze and resolve complex problems, taking initiative to resolve quicklyAbility to project manage self and others to achieve objectives Ability to build and maintain strong internal team relationships and work well in cross-functional teamsStrong facilitation and meeting management skillsStrong communication skills (written & verbal), with proven ability to effectively communicate to multiple levels of the organizationDemonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projectsExcellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
