And start doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Plan and organise workload in order to deliver a full range of occupational health services as per client requirements Ensure clinical Occupational Health practices undertaken are in accordance with the General Medical Council (GMC) Code of Professional Conduct and to UnitedHealthcare Global policies and procedures Fitness to work planning, assessment and screening as per client standards and protocols and the OGUK Medical Aspects of Fitness for Offshore Work Guidance Liaise with General Practitioners and Medical Specialists in relation to employee illness and medical incapacity Health surveillance including hearing conservation, skin and respiratory surveillance, Hand Arm Vibration up to level 4 in compliance with UK legislation Sickness Absence Case Management including return to work rehabilitation and periodic review with Management and Human Resources Provision of Medical Emergency support at the client site Liaise with Health Providers and major contractors in respect of Medevac and incident management Advice and medical assistance to other members of the occupational health team and offshore medics Assessment, diagnosis, investigation and reporting of Occupational illness cases Ensure that thorough clinical case notes and patient confidentiality are maintained at all times Communication and presentations to management and employees on health related topics Review and analysis of health data for benchmarking and management reports Maintain professional registration and continuing professional development
Required Qualifications:GMC registered Medical Practitioner Diploma / Degree in Occupational Medicine HSE approved doctor status in Asbestos, Ionising Radiation, Lead, HAVS 4 OGUK registered doctor Experience of working in the field of Occupational Medicine in the Oil and Gas Industry Self-motivated and requiring minimum supervision to plan, organise and deliver the service Ability to travel Computer literate Client focused and committed to the occupational health team Commitment to results Ability to demonstrate teamwork Analysis and problem solvingPreferred Qualifications:BOSIET MIST Familiarisation with the eOPASS system Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
