There is also an continuing need to innovate capabilities to meet growth and compliance commitments for evolving Medicaid clinical models. UHC Community & State has requested a Clinical and Quality program to build and deliver technology capabilities required to support market commitments, affordability goals, and PCCM agenda. This program is driving demand and providing budget for additional program management resources to support the initiative. In your position as a Senior IT Program Manager for Clinical Quality, you will be a direct report to the Director of Program Management, and will lead technology implementations of healthcare claim and clinical platforms for large growth and expansion Medicaid programs. As technology implementation lead this resource will be the principle technology representative for our business partners at UHC Community and State. Specifically, this resource should have robust healthcare knowledge, experience with healthcare claim and/or clinical platforms, a deep understanding of the SDLC and an ability to be a flexible thought leader in the face of changing customer requirements. This person should have experience in large scale technology implementation programs and should be able to thrive in complex project environments. This person will be responsible for contributing to the creation of processes and tools to provide visibility across the entire technology product landscape and help enable leaders to make decisions regarding how to optimize growth and expansion efforts. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:Managing programs around systems and data architecture Working on multiple projects simultaneously. These will be capital projects involved in updating and consolidating functionality in various systems related to Medicaid programs Heavily involved with setting up recurring status meetings with the business, fielding questions from the business, as well as handling issues that arise from the business Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues Gathering and updating program materials, completing budgeting, forecasting, program documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents Speaking to details of the program to both the business and technical teams from beginning to end of all programs Managing cross-functional interdependencies Improving processes to optimize performance and value over time Providing risk management and issue/problem resolution as required
Required Qualifications:8+ years of IT Project/Program management experience 8+ years of experience working hands-on with all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment 8+ years of experience communicating risk, issues, and program status to executive level management Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) Demonstrated experience working in clinical / medical quality technology (ie. HEDIS, care management)Preferred Qualification:Bachelor's Degree Experience working with large cross-functional teams Experience with industry standard Project and Portfolio Management tools (i.e. Planview, Clarity, Microsoft Project) Proficiency with Visio Medicaid and/ or managed care organization experienceCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
