This position will be part of the OptumRx Government Programs Operations Department and play a key role in providing best in class enrollment support for those clients contracted with the OptumRx Employer Group Waiver Plan Prescription Drug Plan (EGWP). As an Enrollment Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to provide service and analysis to support the operations and business objectives of the Medicare Part D Enrollment Department. This is a position that affords you the ability to drive process and improvement initiatives as well as best practices in the overall management of the CMS enrollment process for our clients. By providing process oversight and utilizing your sharp analytical skills to fulfill the needs of the business and/or clients, you will have an impact on healing the health care system. This is a challenging role that creates an opportunity to grow and develop while doing your life's best work.(sm) This is a critical position within the Medicare Part D Enrollment Department. Primary Responsibilities:Research member requests / issues as presented by the vendor, clients and Account ManagementTrack and monitor enrollment processing; identify issues and apply solutionsEnsure established policies and procedures are being followed by vendors and identify areas where process updates may be neededTrack and review client reporting to ensure data accuracy and to identify trends (spot checking delivery, content, etc.)Proofread client specific member letters to ensure correct data is populated based on final approved documentsAttend conference calls with clients, Account Management and vendor as neededAssist with new client implementationsSupport special projects as needed and perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:3+ years of prior experience with Medicare Part D Enrollment operations and/or with Part D Employer Group Waiver Plans (EGWP)3+ years of prior experience in a Client / Account Service support function3+ years of prior experience within the PBM industryExcellent interpersonal skills both verbally and in writingAbility to promote and ensure client satisfaction via timely and accurate responses, clear communication, and ongoing training / education of Account Management staff as it relates to Enrollment process / procedures and CMS guidance / regulationsExperience gathering and documenting customer requirements in a form and manner to best support client and CMS expectations Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, a related field or 3+ years of equivalent work experience Experience and demonstrated familiarity with EGWP enrollment and operations strongly preferred Careers with OptumRx.
