Summary: Reviews terms and conditions for all GD-OTS Seattle products and negotiates contracts and administers moderately complex contracts, as necessary, for Cost Reimbursable, as well as Fixed Price, and T&M agreements. Prepares various agreements, including Non-Disclosure, Teaming, Contracts, Modifications and other corporate agreements and is responsible for initiating the execution and support of pre-proposal analysis of RFPs, contract negotiations, administration, contract compliance, change order management, and close-outs, coordinating the same with outside and inside customers. The Associate Contracts Manager is responsible for monitoring contract performance to ensure timely and profitable fulfillment of company and customer contractual obligations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reviews all requests for proposal and similar documents, identifies business risks, and recommends appropriate responses to the business terms and bid/no-bid process.
Is an integral part of the proposal team, leads negotiations of business proposals.
Reviews contract terms, recommends changes, and identifies risks for management review and approval.
Administers all contracts with respect to issues pertaining to the contractual documents, identify contract changes, and be current with contract status at all times.
Reviews invoices and follows-up in a timely manner of collection activities.
Administratively closes out contracts.
Prepares and executes correspondence to outside customers.
Assists management in the generation and/or review of company procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and/or improved cost effectiveness.
Working knowledge of FAR/UCC, accounting practices, export/import for government and commercial contracts.
Working knowledge of the company's methods of conducting business, specifically with respect to FAR and UCC regulations, as well as being well versed in the product and services of the company.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as legal documents, contracts, statements of work, requests for proposals, and financial reports.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in a business related field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in contract administration, including prior senior level contract administration experience, as well as managing and negotiating government and commercial contracts/subcontracts.
