We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Peoplesoft (HCM) Developer.
This position acts as a technical resource in a complex technical or professional discipline, seen as a leader in that field within the organization. This position supports, customizes, configures, and enhances PeopleSoft HCM application. This position understands the work processes of assigned business areas, and collects user requirements and translates them into well-engineered, tested, and deployed business application solutions. Responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information. Works independently with limited work direction.
Contributes to strategic planning, including proposed cost implications.
Commits to deliverables. Selects tools and methodologies for projects.
Designs projects with broad implications, requiring systems integration of one or more technical platforms.
Leads design sessions by presenting logical statements of business problems and designs, and offering and incorporating ideas.
Mentors less-experienced staff with responsibility for their technical development.
Participates in systems analysis and design using development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
Participates in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and/or supporting application software.
Aligns business and IT strategies, and complies with MCITs architectural standards.
Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must have a four (4) year BA/BS degree
Typically requires 7 or more years of experience.
PeopleSoft HCM 9.2; strong technical knowledge of PeopleTools 8.55+ including IB web services, application packages, AWE, fluid user interface (UI), work centers, activity guides, pivot grids and oracle SQL.
Experience with migration tools, analyzing and retrofitting PUM images.
Strong functional understanding of HCM modules including Core HR, NA Payroll, BenAdmin, MSS, ESS.
Advanced degree desirable.
UNIX scripting, java scripts, css, html experience preferred but not required.
