We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Systems IT Analyst
This position is an independent contributor IT professional, applying technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines. This position selects, customizes, configures, installs and supports packages. This position understands the work processes of assigned business areas, and collects user requirements and translates them into well-engineered, tested, and deployed business application systems. Responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information. Receives general direction, work in progress is reviewed routinely. Working experience with a clinical system is strongly desired.
Responsible for the design and development of IT systems.
Develops design and functional specifications, produces deliverables related to the project(s) assigned and assists in post implementation support and system enhancements.
Responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes or systems.
Independently designs technical solutions for modules of a project, or to resolve most problems.
Selects appropriate work procedures or approaches to address technical challenges.
Provide hardware and software troubleshooting.
Provide Day to day assistance with application issues.
Provide Go-Live, implementation, and post implementation support Interact with clinical staff and vendors.
Strong experience in working to educate Clinical and administrative staff around new systems, and provide application training for a variety of users to include physicians, nurses, and other associated staff around various healthcare systems and associated technologies.
Receive inbound calls and document all issues accurately and appropriately.
Provide support of HL7 interface/knowledge of HL7 interfaces.
Additional support responsibilities and duties as required.
Must have a BA/BS degree and at least 4 years of experience.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
