RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS Job Summary & responsibilities:
Understand capital regime implications and translate these considerations to develop intelligent applications that help to make the analysis of capital impact more accurate, transparent, and timely.
Partner with the rest of the Technology and Strats organization to leverage our deep technical intellectual property and products from across the Firm to enhance control while also delivering best-of-breed commercial-quality enterprise applications for purpose of capital measurement and analytics.
Directly interface with the Business and our Federation partners in Finance and Risk.
Be hands-on and take ownership of issues to ensure follow-through.
Have strong communication skills and feel comfortable working in a global team that both welcomes and challenges new ideas.
Experience of technical mentoring of more junior developers.
Improve current processes and develop creative solutions that are grounded in reality and have practical value.
Strong interest in developing and delivering commercial-level solutions in rapid cycles.
Excellent academic background in quantitative fields Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics.
Experience with functional and/or object-oriented programming.
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of capital analytics and balance sheet management (e.g. CCAR) is a plus.
Experience with service-oriented software architecture is a plus.
Enjoys R&D and comfortable with working in highly dynamic and rapid development environment.
