Lead a number of Business Initiatives and Change Management Programmes, managing all activities from planning through execution to close out while ensuring consistency with overall project and programme objectives. Interact with stakeholders at all levels and across numerous disciplines to both ensure (i)the objectives of any work undertaken are commonly understood and agreed; (ii) progress against those objectives is communicated in a timely; accurate and appropriate manner, (iii) EMEA Platform impacts effectively and efficiently imbedded as Business as Usual.
Play an active role in the governance of the wider project/programme of which any work-streams form a part; creating and delivering presentations on project objectives, plans and progress; contributing to Steering Committee decks; supporting presentations to Executive Leadership to ensure adequate project financing; completing status updates and EMEA Platform adoption of change.
Facilitate Wholesale PMO - International Risk defined work efforts, small programme, remediation efforts and readiness reviews for EMEA Platform.
Lead and direct team members as appropriate.
Contribute to the budget process, gathering data on resource requirements to support work-streams under direct management and subjecting initial estimates to rigorous challenge before presenting them for consolidation.
Escalate, as appropriate, any issues arising in the support of work streams managed which may have a negative impact on the EMEA Platform or the delivery of the project as a whole or on resources and/ or systems.
Liaise with business partners to define the handover criteria which will signal the transition of a project activity to business as usual and, where appropriate, the programme of measures (policy and procedures); training; definition of KRIs etc.) to be initiated to ensure ongoing monitoring of the change implemented.
As an EMEA representative of the Wholesale PMO - International Risk Team, work with other team members to: i) support the definition of regional scope outside the region; (ii) contribute as required to completion of key project documents (PIR; Project Plan, resource impact statement, Budget, and other required Wholesale PMO - International Risk deliverables).
Ensure all work undertaken is delivered in accordance with both established Wholesale PMO process and protocols and the Wells Fargo Project Management Policy and Methodology.
Develop sufficient familiarity with and confidence in the employment of, project protocols and methodology to be to act as an Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Creates and delivers presentations to mid-senior level management on project goals and plans, including progress reports.
Experience of working in both the EMEA Regional environment and a highly-matrixed environment and across geographic regions, NOTE: much of the work is anticipated to be coordinated with the US.
Proven experience of project management, or combined senior business analysis/project management experience.
Ability to manage by influence and so engage stakeholders at all levels, across business and functions to deliver against defined objectives.
Knowledge of project management concepts and the ability to apply them practically in delivering against project objectives.
Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
Proficiency in managing multiple tasks ; work-streams concurrently, prioritizing accordingly to ensure consistent deliver to time.
Strong analytical skills; the role requires interpretation and synthesis of regulatory, business and technical information to ensure that the solutions implemented meet the needs of both Wells Fargo and its clients.
Flexibility in addressing changing requirements and an associated aptitude for reprioritization and message management to stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to vary approach and so ensure that the method of communicating any message is tailored to the intended audience.
Exposure to regulatory change: EMIR, MiFID II / MiFIR, and pending change initiatives for the EMEA region.
Solid project management experience and ability to clearly demonstrate management of cross functional/cross discipline teams both through direct management and influence.
