During the night watch, assist the dispatch group with scheduling and coordinating flow work for Harley Marine vessels as directed by on-duty dispatch personnel. Assist the dispatch group with maintaining records and processing paperwork to ensure proper billing for services to customers. Fill in for on-duty dispatch personnel during vacation and sick leave.

Perform related duties as assigned.
Perform in Harley Marine Services Incident Command System as assigned.
This position also serves as a training platform for the full-time dispatch position.
Extensive knowledge of the local operating area.
Four (4) year college education in Maritime or related studies; or equivalent experience.
Three (3) years at sea on tugboats, tankers, or oil barges or equivalent military experience.
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible management in maritime industry.
Extensive knowledge of tugboat and oil transportation industry.
Knowledge of tug and barge maintenance systems and equipment.
USCG license and PIC endorsement on Merchant Mariner Document preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive materials and communications.
Ability to work independently with minimal or no guidance.
Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.
Ability to interface with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
Must be physically fit enough to board barges and tugs at sea and in port.
