Purpose Statement: Ensures timely completion of furniture installation and movements of individuals or work groups.
RESPONSIBILITIES Team Management
Manage installation vendors ensuring projects are in full compliance with client expectations.
Provide technical assistance to team members, vendors and contractors
Ensure all projects are performed safely and in accordance with the McKinstry safety policies and procedures
Act as steward of McKinstry culture; communicate and influence policies and procedures
Office Space Installations
Estimate project costs and complete projects on or under budget.
Project manage move, add, or change teardowns and installations.
Ensure all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are at the installation site.
Maintain accurate project documentation.
Ensure work is coordinated with other departments.
Organize warehouse and keep accurate records and inventory levels
Vehicle maintenance and inspection as needed
Respond to customer service requests based upon agreed upon SLA's
Monitor, complete, and close all service requests in work order management system
Provide exceptional customer service skills and maintain positive and professional working relationship with internal and external clients
Escalate issues to Space Planning or Facility Manager as needed
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES
Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities of a Facility Coordinator.
Must have at least one (1) year experience managing installations, deliveries, and moves.
Knowledge of installation of both loose and modular furniture systems required.
Ability to read blueprints/CAD drawing required.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent work experience required.
Valid driver's license and CDL certification required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred .
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to work at heights and from ladders.
Ability to regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
