Description: Provide expertise and depth in key service frameworks and models, as well as agile engineering processes and Industry “Best Practices,” to achieve vision and mission-driven enhancements for the customer.
Ensure application of the most current “Best Practices and Techniques” from industry proven Information Technology (IT) Service Frameworks and Models (e.g. IT Information Library (ITIL)), International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 2000 and IT Service Capability Maturity Model (IT-CMM)) to assess IT Service Performance).
Advise the Government decision-makers on the processes to make program and project decisions in the context of overall agile IT management related to Service Assurance, Service Implementation and Service Operations.
Under the oversight of a GPOC define, manage and ensure adherence to governance and technical program management stewardship processes.
Complete Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs) and trades studies, associated with workflow optimization tools for consideration into operational baseline.
Ensure practices/processes reflect the near, mid and long term objectives of customer.
Support business rhythms to ensure synchronization of customer efforts/practices.
Required Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
5 years supporting DoD and/or IC in related areas and minimum 5 yrs sys engineering experience.
Demonstrated oversight experience with planning, transitioning, independent Verification and Validation, and testing of operational capabilities and data from legacy systems.
Working knowledge of net-centric, data-centric, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) business models, technical architectures and frameworks, and current industry best practices.
Working knowledge of Agile methods, practices and integration into operational Baselines.
Experience in working with the IC and/or DoD analytical user base, translating stakeholder needs into technical requirements and objectives.
Experience and demonstrated working knowledge of IC and/or DoD development and testing environments to include processes, technologies and challenges.
