Work Hours/Shifts: Full Time: Monday - Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8am-2:30pm Job Summary: The Position Control Manager effectively manages the Position Control team to ensure timely and accurate entry of all new hires, employee changes, position changes and bonuses. Trains new hires, conduct audits and seeks continuous process improvement. Facilitates training for leaders and staff and delivers outstanding customer service to all. Accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in business or related field OR equivalent work experience Two years of experience in Human Resources, Accounting or Payroll Microsoft Office product knowledge such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of employees, in writing, in person, or by phone Successful completion of basic math test Detail-oriented Able to pay careful attention to timelines/deadlines Able to maintain confidentiality Able to accept constructive criticism and apply correction towards improving work skills Able to work well with others, using tact and diplomacy Three years management/supervisory experience (Preferred) Working knowledge of SunPort and payroll practices (Preferred) Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required: PHR or SHRM-CP certification (Preferred) Job Responsibilities: Demonstrates, through behavior, Florida Hospital's core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork Manages the Position Control team to ensure timely and accurate entry of all new hires, employee changes, position changes and bonuses according to Compensation and Required Approvals Guidelines. Follows up on audits in a timely manner. Appropriately communicates directly with Compensation, Payroll, AHS Benefits Service Center, MIS, and others departments as required to complete work. Assists FH leadership with unique situations and special requests. Resolves issues in a timely manner. Participates in acquisition planning and special projects to ensure smooth transitions for intercompany transfers. Trains new hires, educates team members based on audits and customer feedback. Facilitates training for leaders and staff on Position Control processes and practices. Identifies areas for process improvement to improve accuracy, turnaround time and efficiency. Ensures proper use of internal tools by Position Control Specialists and resources for processing. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
