As Deputy Administrator for Clinical Services for Anoka-Metro Regional Treatment Center (AMRTC), s/he will provide direction, supervision and oversight to the Psychology, Social Services, and Rehabilitation departments as well as the Treatment Planning Writers/Mentors for AMRTC. The Deputy Administrator for Clinical Services will establish, enhance, and assure the competency of departments, standardize quality practices, and ensure core competencies for department members across AMRTC. The Deputy Administrator for Clinical Services will ensure the recruitment and retention of high quality clinical staff across AMRTC. S/he will provide positive leadership across the departments and represent non-medical clinical services at policy and planning meetings. The Deputy Administrator for Clinical Services will also assure the non-medical Clinical Departments function according to all applicable practice standards established by the Minnesota Board of Psychology, Minnesota Board of Social Work, and the American Psychological Association, The Joint Commission (TJC), and the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS).
The Deputy Administrator for Clinical Services must possess positive leadership abilities; in depth knowledge of the current practices within the fields of clinical psychology, behavior analysis, community consultation, program evaluation and research, and organizational development. S/he must be sensitive to the needs and interests of department members and hospital staff and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Master's degree in clinical psychology, social work, or other clinical field of study;
Licensed in the State of Minnesota as an Indpendent Mental Health Professional (LP, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, etc);
At least two (2) years post licensure experience directing psychological services in a mental health or behavioral health care setting.
Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, social work, or other clinical field of study
