Role/Responsibilities: As an Associate Analyst 3, your key function will be to provide support for the DPG (Document Process Group) management team responsible for publishing new and updated rating methodologies. Responsibilities include:
Providing back-up for the process steps needed to publish methodology-related documents. This includes uploading documents in our CMS (Content Management System) system, reviewing formatted documents, working with Production to publish after all approvals are received, and updating downstream applications post-publication.
Tracking processes associated with certain publishing steps including the timeline for receiving market comments through a Request for Comment (RFC), managing the possible extension of the comment period, managing comments received through our RFC Tool, notifying Compliance and analysts, and posting comments on moodys.com (MDC) at the end of the process. Track the progress of any needed translations.
Understanding all the publishing process flows with an eye for continuous improvement.
Provide reporting, as needed, to illustrate degree of publishing process efficiencies.
Build and maintain relationships with key contacts from various departments (e.g., CMS team, MRG, translation manager, press desk, production, IT, Ops, etc.).
Develop a good understanding of the processes and procedures for developing rating methodologies.
Keep key tracking tools current including DPG's project charters for each rating methodology update.
Work on various special projects such as rating methodology tagging and identifying outdated links in rating methodologies.
Become proficient in all Moody's publishing and tracking tools to be able to provide support for the methodology development groups that use them. Department/Team: Document Process Group (DPG) within the Methodology Development Group Qualifications:
Bachelor's or equivalent degree required. Preferred majors include Computer, Operations, Project Management, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or Science related discipline.
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt in a changing environment; ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize, to work collaboratively within a team and to consistently meet deadlines.
Keen attention to detail; highly organized and efficient.
Strong process orientation with experience in a control function and systems.
1-2 years of relevant work experience in operations and/or credit analysis is desirable.
