The job holders will perform risk assessments and lead the audit engagements of a range of business units in order to deliver the audit plan. You will develop working relationships with the business unit managers in order to perform affective risk assessment. You will need to understand the business strategy, the products and all risk-related issues at business unit level and effectively communicating these to your team members. You will support and/or lead the planning and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver assurance objectives in line with the banks standards. The Senior Audit Manager will act as the Credit/Credit Risk Control expert in order to provide training to local audit functions as well as sharing knowledge and experience with other team members to assist in the development of the audit function. As part of this role, you will be required to travel to all CIB/Commercial Banking markets across the globe and participate in all function and country audits; essentially identifying and escalating all risks to the bank.
The Senior Manager will have at least 10 years of relevant experience working as a professional auditor and must have had exposure to Credit/AML/Financing/Governance and Compliance. Due to the nature of the role, the successful hire will ideally have previous credit risk experience or have had strong exposure to CIB or Commercial Banking products. The job holder must be able to commit to at least 30% travel in this global role and be able to work independently, efficiently and with the ability to multitask.
