Vanderbilt Temporary Services is a department within Human Resources that provides temporary employees to all areas of Vanderbilt University. VTS hires temporary employees on a part-time or full-time basis and for a period of up to six months. Working as a temporary employee allows a person to showcase talents, education, and skills while exploring the job market to potentially find regular employment. College graduates, new-comers to the area, retirees, military veterans and individuals looking for career advancement or changes are invited to apply for employment with Vanderbilt Temporary Services. Administrative/Clerical positions require strong computer skills with efficiency and accuracy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Job duties to include calendaring, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, reimbursement requests, transcription, campus errands, mail distribution, call triage as well as general administrative functions, as needed.
