DUTIES:The incumbent will be responsible for the administrative and clinical direction and oversight of the therapeutic divisions in the PM&R division of PT, OT, and SLP.Development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures related to the therapeutic disciplines.Assure compliance with policy and procedures of governing bodies.Budget oversight of all therapy disciplines - Identify staffing needs and adjust budget accordingly.Participation in hospital-wide committees as assigned.Staff supervision/recruitment to include directors of therapy and all other staff members in the therapy disciplines.Perform all required paperwork for annual evaluations and recruitment on a timely basis, maintain hospital files as per hospital policy.Provide monthly reports to the Chairman and Division Chief regarding therapy statistics and productivity.Function as a liaison between hospital administration and the therapy disciplines.Provide administrative support to the Division Chief of PMR including but not limited to on-boarding of physicians and clerical staff and GME responsibilities in conjunction with the residency coordinator.Serve as a leader and liaison betwween rehab therapy and other hospital departments, including attendance at rounds and performance improvement initiatives.(DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION)QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED: BS in Physical or Occupational Therapy. Master's degree in related field.
