We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate Director, Governance Manager Global Banking and Markets.
Work with the Regional Global Banking and Markets Chief Risk and Administration Officer to support the various first line risk management meetings.
Coordinate the consolidated monthly decks for the various meetings such as the Financial Crime Risk Management Meeting and inputs into the system.
Coordinate and support the Chairperson in running the monthly Meetings.
Leverage the business and greater risk functions to identify and monitor the top and emerging risks in the first line.
Ensure that high level risk reporting are compliant with regulatory reporting standards and internal control standards.
Support the greater Global Banking and Markets business and functional teams on governance and oversight matters to improve operational effectiveness.
Support the first line Governance framework across Asia and ensure there is alignment between country and regional meetings.
Act as a primary contact point between Asia Pacific Global Banking and Markets Chief Risk and Administration Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Risk and Compliance, Business and Functional Teams, providing general advice and guidance on wider committee governance responsibilities.
Degree or advanced degree in Business, Finance or Statistics.
Previous experience in risk management, banking, finance, strategy or management consulting.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships and regularly influence stakeholders across regions and business lines.
Experience working with Senior Management in a large matrix organization.
Proven experience in project and programme management.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills including experience in preparing presentations and committee decks.
The ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
