Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Marketing Manager.
In this role, the Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of marketing programs to support NYU Langones ambulatory growth strategy. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, (s)he will develop and execute marketing initiatives aligned with the Medical Centers business objectives and which protect and enhance the reputation of the master brand. The incumbent will also be responsible for interacting with outside vendors (.e.g., graphic designers, copy editors, etc.) on a regular basis.
Local and niche advertising, including search engine marketing - Google AdWords, need to avoid cannibalization across sites. Outdoor advertising, to align with institutional campaign(s). Print advertising to support strategic ambulatory plan - align with institutional campaign(s).
Marketing collateral New collateral i.e., PRTCMH printed collateral, donor events, advertising, reprints, consumer and physician mailings. Synergies within existing collateral. Repurposing prior/existing campaigns i.e., LI messaging
Institutional ambulatory marketing - Breadth and depth of specialties and locations maps, lists. Inclusion of offsite locations in existing marketing collateral across specialties. Internal referral opportunities
Budget and Management - Manage marketing budget and budget planning process
Digital Communications - Manage search engine marketing plans (Google AdWords, etc.) for assigned areas and compile monthly executive summary reports to be shared with key internal constituents. Work closely with digital communications team to develop new and innovative ways to extend reach and distribution of existing content.
Advertising, Marketing and Branding - Develop and implement strategic, research-based marketing plans for key ambulatory sites. Work closely with clinical partners as well as Communications and Marketing colleagues (media relations, publications, etc.) on top of business priorities, to ensure alignment of institutional and departmental marketing priorities and messages. Develop and write collateral print materials (e.g., brochures, annual reports). Manage creative development process for all collateral with external vendors, including graphic designer(s) and printers.
Manage internal approval processes for all marketing materials and initiatives. Manage ongoing calendar of existing project plans.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a BA/BS degree required and a minimum of 5 - 7 years marketing and/or advertising experience for large, complex organization. Working knowledge of online marketing including search engine marketing.
