~~ This is a high profile regulatory role as part of the Regulatory Transaction Reporting group. Reporting into the Transaction reporting manager, the role involves SME review and influence of key aspects of transaction reporting of OTC products that fall under the EMIR regulation. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to help shape a developing team and enhance operational processes as we deliver our strategic operating model.
Your team :
The wider team is made up of 11 FTE based in London and a further 10 FTE in Shanghai ensuring timely /accuracy/completeness for both house and delegated EMIR Reporting transaction, valuation and collateral reporting for all Asset classes including Rates, Credit, FX and Equity. The team perform oversight of the offshore exception management, SME point of contact for reporting challenges seen both offshore and in the middle office. Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to) reviewing Change BRDs, consulting on changes to the regulation, assisting complex client queries and contributing to the various Production Governance meeting and Operating Committees.
Your experience and skills :
Analysing root cause for non-successful reports, ensuring the remediation/governance of issues with Change/IT streams
SME analysis of reporting and future changes, including BRDs and UAT test scrips
Developing the broader teams knowledge and understand of the reporting infrastructure
Supporting the EMIR manager and RTR Management team in the implementation and effective operating of the department structure
