Under the direction of the Directorof Programmatic Services and Innovation or their designee, the Research Assistantwill provide support and recommendations for the research and analysisregarding evidence-based approaches, best practices and research regardingnovel approaches to support proposal development and design for innovativehealth care programs and initiatives. Reviews appropriate literature andbodies of research to present sound recommendations for service and innovationdevelopment. Supports the Research Manager by completing documents such asliterature reviews, research summaries and meta-analysis for specific issues asneeded. Researches areas will include avariety of content areas including but not limited to: behavioral health,justice involved and vulnerable populations, population health and qualityimprovement and maternal and child health.
Conductsresearch through online searches, journal reviews, and other scholarlydocuments and journals.
Writessummaries and documents of complex topics succinctly for review by ResearchManager.
Reviewsexisting material on relevant subjects, such as books, newspaper and journalarticles, internet resources, published data and create summarized reports forfurther pursuit.
Supportsthe Research Manager in any administrative responsibilities regarding researchefforts.
Providesresearch and analysis to define, segment and prioritize reach out toinfluential partners; translates research into practical, applicable knowledgeand tactics.
Draftsinterview questions and surveys for primary research needs.
Conductsinterviews and surveys as needed by the research manager.
Gathersmaterial for review by Research Manager.
Preparesinformation that will be included in grant applications and funding proposals.
Analyzesthe data and preparing reports, graphs and tables when needed.
Conductinterviews with subject matter experts within CCHHS or within the field offocus in order to inform the proposal development.
Providerecommendations regarding proposal feasibility based on the research processand review of the current best practice.
Reviewcurrent trends and data and present emerging issues and data for review andengagement.
Providesummaries of model projects for possible implementation.
Provideresearch support to Principal Investigators as needed.
Performsother duties as assigned
Bachelor'sDegree in Social Sciences, Urban Studies, Business/Finance, PublicAdministration or related field of study from an accredited college oruniversity. (must provide officialtranscripts at time of interview)
Three (3) years of full-time research workexperience (is required)
Priorwork experience supporting research projects or supporting Principal Investigators.(is required)
Mustbe able to work flexible hours based on project needs or timelines (is required)
